Search engine optimisation
Forwest Media offer a comprehensive search engine optimisation (SEO) solution.
SEO: Organic listings
Organic listings are the results shown after a user has entered their chosen words into a search engine (i.e. Google, Yahoo! or MSN).
These results are based on the search engine's algorithm and are not influenced by paid adverts often seen on the right-hand side of the same page. Organic listings (also referred to as 'natural search') are free, with the results shown being ranked by a variety of different factors.
Forwest Media specialise in optimising web pages to make them appear in a higher position within the search engine results pages (SERP).
New design or existing layout maintained
Forwest Media can design a new website adding all our SEO methods into the design and making sure that your site is optimised as standard. All aspects of the design can be chosen to help your site gain rankings in the search engines.
If you already have an existing site and you are happy with the design but have found that it does not appear as often or as high in the search engines as you would like, Forwest Media can optimise the code behind your existing site, leaving the layout as intended.
Ethical strategies
All of the strategies applied by Forwest Media to improve web page results in the search engines are in strict accordance with guidelines set out by the major search engines. All of the methods used are ethical and do not seek to deceive the search engines by using 'black hat' techniques.

SEO: Paid for listings and advertisements
Paid listings, commonly referred to as "Pay per click" are adverts that appear in an allocated space on search engines and other popular websites.
The adverts are usually ranked in order of how much the advertiser is willing to pay per click, and also the relevancy of the content contained within the advert. A headline and short description is chosen by the advertiser, and when clicked the viewer is directed to the relevant page within the advertiser's website.
This type of advertising is a quick and easy solution for driving some traffic to your site. There is an additional benefit of building brand recognition for your business and products even if the advert shown is not clicked.
Sponsored links
Most search engines place sponsored adverts on the results pages of a search query. These adverts typically appear grouped on the right-hand side of the page or exclusively at the top.
Banner advertising
Many popular websites set aside space on their pages for advertising. These sites can get a lot of viewers, and if the appropriate sites are targeted the click through rate can be more than satisfactory.
Forwest Media can create and monitor a range of "Pay per click" advertising campaigns based on your most relevant keywords and your chosen budget.
